September 10th: Closing Event 

On Saturday, September 10th, the Club will be hosting its Season Closing events, AGM, and annual dinner. We are anticipating a fun-filled day for whole family. This year the format includes a round robin for youth and a team-based adult event. There will be prizes and refreshments served throughout the day. We will finish up the festivities with our AGM and famous chinese buffet dinner. Don't miss out on this very special event!!

The proposed format is as follows:

10 am to 11 am            Kids Tennis (ages 6 to 11)
11 am to 1 pm            Youth Round Robin (ages 12 to 17)
1:30 to 4 pm              Adult Team Tennis (levels 2 to 4+)
                                Racquet Demo - Kunstadt Sports (To be confirmed)
4 to 5:30 pm              Break
5:30 to 6:30               Annual General Meeting
6:30  to 8 pm             Dinner (Chinese buffet)

Have your children learn how to play tennis in a fun way with special nets & equipment. There will be PRIZES and complimentary refreshments. The kids can also stay to cheer on the Youth Round Robin.

Come and participate in our friendly Singles Round Robin with your peers. Players will play the best two out of three in Singles and will be assigned a handicap based on their skill level. There will be PRIZES and complimentary refreshments.

Ages:      12 to 17 yrs 
Details:
   1. The event is for youth from TATC, the Glens and General Burns who have already taken some lessons and have played some tennis matches.

SEP 10: Closing Event - Adult Team Event Where:


Come and participate in our second Adult Team Event where each player will play for a team for the duration of the event. Teams will be made prior to the tournament based on skill level and mix of women and men to ensure that teams are evenly matched. Teams will be playing a round robin against each of the teams and everyone on the team will play. Points will be allocated based on games won and or tied. The top two teams will play in the finals and the two bottom teams will play in the consolation finals. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and special individual prizes will be awarded on an ad-hoc basis. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Number of Participants:  A minimum of 16 people are required and a maximum of 32

Ages:     Adults

   1.  The event is for Adults and is open to non-members.

   3. Warm-up’s and team meet and greets (determining team name) will begin at 1:30 pm and the tournament will begin at 2:00 pm. The length of the games will be determined by the number of participants and is expected to end by 4:00 pm.

Please join us for our Annual General Meeting and Chinese Buffet Dinner. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what is going on in your club and socialize with other members. Note that if you cannot attend the AGM, you can provide a Proxy. For more info, contact us.
